Crowdsourced Ecovillages
What if we built villages together?
Disconnection is literally killing us mentally, physically, socially, and environmentally. Our time, attention, and money are relentlessly pursued and diffused. Instead, what if we came together? What if we built our lives on simplicity and connection rather than consumerism and factionalism? What if living sustainably could be inclusive of all backgrounds, religions, ages, individuals, and families? What if we built a healthy economic housing model that balanced our financial autonomy, flexibility, and interdependence? What if we built... villages again?
In practice, this might look like:
Find your people/village online and in person BEFORE you make financial commitments
Buy your RV pad in the community (RV co-op park model - $50k-$70k) and then only pay utilities
Bring or build your own Tiny House on Wheels (THOW) or RV
Purchase 20+ acre properties and work through conditional use as RV parks
Half the RV pads would be long-term rental and half would be short-term rentals
After LLC owns the short-term rentals, long-term owners start making +$1,500/month (forever)
AND, all the money you put into this system goes directly to your village or funds new villages
Let's clarify what this effort is NOT:
This is NOT a development project to benefit anyone more than the long-term owners (you)
This is NOT a hippie commune or a religious compound trying to enforce a political agenda
This is NOT a government project
